The International Film Festival of Marrakech (FIFM), was created in 2001.
It is the main event dedicated to the 7th Art in Morocco, location of many international productions.
This festival brings together each year many film personalities often internationally renowned.
The jury of the festival is composed of filmmakers and comedians, personalities but also writers. Afterwards, the jury awards the best local and foreign productions with gold stars.
This internationally renowned festival is chaired by His Highness Prince Moulay Rachid.

The Moroccan public is very present for all those who are in the light. Acclaimed, adulated, recognized, wherever they come from, this audience takes full advantage of this crowd.

His Master Class
The Master Class offers an opportunity for film students, to approach great people in the field and especially to learn from their teachings.
The action of the Foundation
This action comes from the Foundation of the Marrakech International Film Festival, which is in partnership with the Hassan II Foundation of Ophthalmology and the Ministry of Health.
About three hundred people benefited from the cataract surgery, and so were able to recover their sight.
The Foundation has also adapted seven films in audio description for the blind and visually impaired.
