Marrakech is a city in the grip of a delirious imagination. A feverish dreamscape of honeycombed alleys and minarets quivering in the sunlight. It is one of the world-enchanted places where time becomes suspended and where one, through its mysterious open doors, can only catch a glimpse of a past so rich and so remote and yet so palpable. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we start our tour with a visit to the famous Majorelle Gardens, created in 1919 by the French Painter Jacques Majorelle, this is a place of luxurious vegetation, contrasts and colors, Jacques Majorelle was one of the more important collectors of plants of his era, plants of the five continents are exposed in an enchanting framework. In 1980 the french Designer Yves Saint Laurant purchased the Garden and restored it. Then continuation to the famous Koutoubia Mosque for a picture of its 12th Century Minaret, before enjoying a special Moroccan lunch in an old palace restaurant, with typical music . During the afternoon, visit of the Medina and the Souksthe most coulourful of the country, where the craftsman are re-grouped in corporation. End this visit with the famous “Place Jemaa El Fna” Square, an ever busy and alive place with story-tellers, snake charmers, acrobates, dancers..we will enjoy a drink at a terasse café on the square before heading back to Casablanca.
