Morocco is known to have historic ties through thousands of years. The last cultural and spiritual exchange was the Islamic expansion that reached Spain from Morocco in the 9th century.
Islam has been part of Morocco since around 670 AD when the Umayyads, under their general Uqba idn Nafi, conquered most of the Maghreb, which includes modern Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Lybia. Following that conquest the indigenous Berber population slowly converted to Islam. In this tour you will have the chance to discover the islamic heritage of Morocco and understand how moderate is Islam in Morocco. An opportunity to witness the tolerance between the different relgions in Morocco.
DAY 1 : CASABLANCA - MARRAKECH
At the Arrival in Casablanca Airport, our guide will be waiting for you. We will go to Halal Restaurant, and after We will visit the great mosque of Hassan II. Then we will travel to Marrakesh (3 hours). Dinner at Halal Restaurant. Afterward, Check in at the Hotel and rest. OVERNIGHT IN MARRAKECH
After having Breakfast we will make the visit in Marrakesh: the Bahia Palace,
Menara Gardens, Banu Saad Mausoleum, the Medina and the beautiful Bazar. Afterward, we will have lunch at a delicious Halal Restaurant. Then you will enjoy Free time to Enter the Koutubia Mosque, shopping and experience the atmosphere in the Jamaa Elfnaa. Later we will head back to the Hotel. OVERNIGHT IN MARRAKECH
DAY 3 :
MARRAKECH - RABAT - MEKNES - FEZAfter Breakfast, we will travel to Rabat (4h). You can have lunch at the arrival and after making a nice tour of Rabat, visiting the Old Medina, Kasbah of Udayas, towers of Hassan(unfinished mosque) and the Mausoleum of Muhammad V. After finishing the visit you will have some free and easy time in the Bazar. After we will depart to Fez (2h). We will make the check in at the hotel and have some rest. Dinner can be at the hotel or at traditional Restaurant in Fez OVERNIGHT IN FEZ
DAY 4 : FEZ
Fes was once the capital of Kingdom before 1912, Fes has retained its status as the country's Artisan center. Your trip today will explore Medina of Fez ‐ the old walled city, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century, and is home to the world's oldest university. Other major sites like
Attarine medresa, Qaraouiyine Mosque, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, Souk Nejiarine are followed. Enjoy a lunch in the heart of the Medina of Fes. The rest of the day is free to walk around the narrow alley of the old town on your own. Return to your hotel for overnight and halal dinner in your Hotel.
DAY 5 :
FEZ - CHEFCHAOUEN - TANGIERBreakfast. Today We will to the blue city of Chefchaouen the pearl of the north of Morocco ( 4 hours ). Enjoy a scenery view of the road to Chefchaouen. Upon Arrival we stop in one of the local Halal Restaurants for lunch. After Lunch we go together for a tour of the blue washed city's main attraction including Tarik Ben Ziyad Mosque, the Kasbah and Ras Elma. Have some free time in the main square named "Uta Lhamam" where you can shop or sip a drink enjoying the Ambience . Departure to Tangier where you will have dinner and spend over the night in a hotel.
DAY 6 : TANGIER - CASABLANCA
After breakfast. The morning devoted to a visit of the city of Tangier. After a Halal Lunch , you will head to Casablanca . Arrival for Casablanca in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight in your Hotel.
DAY 7 : CASABLANCA - DEPARTURE
After breakfast, it is time to check out and head to the airport for home bound flight.
